Tru-Blu Oil is proud to announce the launch of the first products from our “new generation” bio-degradable ENVIRO lubricants. Traditionally Zinc free and bio lubes performance characteristics have not been as good as anti wear based lubes. Tru-Blu’s “new generation” Zinc free fluids changes all that. These lubes are better in many respects to the traditional Anti-Wear mineral based lubes.

The first products in the range to be available are a line of zinc free hydraulic fluids. These fluids use plant derived base stocks in combination with top tier additives from Europe. This plant derived base stock has improved lubricity over the traditional mineral based products.
The fluids include a comprehensive blend anti-wear, anti- foam and anti-oxidation components to protect the users system and extend fluid life. Particularly for traditional Zinc free usage this is a major improvement. The use of bio-degradable fluids is increasing due to environmental concerns and now users can have one that outperforms the mineral based products making this a very attractive alternative.
Zinc free fluids are normally not AW but these improved AW fluids can be used were non AW fluids were used in the past (silver and bronze bushes and shells) thus giving better protection longer life and reducing inventory to one fluid.  
The fluids also have a very high viscosity index; above 200 for the ISO VG46 and ISO VG 68 grades, this allows for more predictable behavior over a given temperature range, This very high index allows users to reduce fade thus maintaining /increasing machine performance particularly when working in high ambient temperatures, where normal fluids may reduce the controls sensitivity and slow the hydraulics response thereby increasing the time to complete a given task.

The savings from this alone can well justify the use of this fluid.
Now there is no reason not to go green.
