De-Watering Fluid is formulated to ensure the best possible protection against rust and corrosion for exposed metallic surfaces and machinery. They find application in the automotive, agricultural, marine, industrial, construction and mining fields where finished components or equipment require protection.
De-Watering Fluid is a mineral oil based rust preventive with water displacing, penetrating and fingerprint suppressing properties. It is designed for the protection of:
- Sheet and strip steel during storage and protected shipment.
- Finely machined and precision parts after cutting and grinding operations involving soluble oils. Process equipment and tools. Sporting and electrical equipment, motor mowers, hinges, locks and catches, etc.
De-Watering Fluid is designed primarily for indoor use where it will provide protection for up to 12 months. However, it will provide sheltered outdoor protection for 2 to 6 months depending upon the climate conditions.
It may be applied by swab, brush or spray and is easily removed with petroleum solvent.
